Candyman (1994) The second album ‘Candyman’ was released in 1994. Though originally meant to be Steve Lukather’s solo album, it eventually ended up as a joint Los Lobotomys project. Cut down to a four-piece band, eliminating most sax and percussion, this version of the band had more of a rock sound. Lukather had a contract with Sony to do another solo album and Los Lobotomys was used for writing, recording and performing on the following European tour.

This album features musicians Jeff Porcaro, Vinnie Colaiuta, Lenny Castro, Carlos Vega, Joe Sample, Will Lee, Brandon Fields, David Garfield and Steve Lukather. The compositions range from Jimi Hendrix to Miles Davis, and together with the grooves of Jeff Porcaro, Carlos Vega, Lenny Castro and Vinnie Colaiuta, this album has gained somewhat of a cult following among music lovers.
