去る3月23日、ラグビーやってきました！
というのも、安請け合いをしてしまったから(笑)

いきなり本題からずれますが、兄の次男君がイギリスへラグビーの試合で遠征。
家族内ではラグビー週間になっています。
甥の通う学校は、日本にラグビーを伝えたとされる名門高校。
国内の大会では全国大会へ出場も、2回戦で大敗。とはいえ、今回の遠征でも背番号１のプロップとして出場の予定です。
日本のラグビーは英国人のＥ・Ｂ・クラーク、英国留学した田中銀之助の両氏が、１８９９年に慶大に伝えたのが始まり。

家族内では兄が大学ラグビーの選手だったこともあって華々しいわけですが、そもそもラグビーやりたいといったのは幼少のころだけど俺だよねｗｗ
ということで、今回は時習館高校のラグビー部創設50周年記念の記念マッチでした。
春先に、ラグビーワールドカップが今年行われることを盛り上げよう！と地元に日本代表選手を招いたちょっとしたイベントがありました。
その時に、8回上の先輩から選手が足りないからよろしく、というお話があって、安請け合い。
とは言え、出たくない、ということではなく、出ても役に立たんだろう、というモチベーションでしたので、やっていいなら出てよいなら、やります

結果、最年長での参加になりました。
終わった後の爽快感はかなり素晴らしいものになりました。

そのあとは懇親会など。
恩師の監督、Y先生も顔を出してくれました。
OBは8回上級×１名、7回上級×２名に次ぐ年次。あとは若い人たち。
ほぼほぼ初めて会う感じでしたね。
次回は夏の自分たちの代のOB会。
山の日です。Y先生も変更した手帳に改めてメモをしてくれていました。何かない限り来ていただけるとは思いますが・・・。
ちなみにその日は試合はありませんｗｗ
